Indie Businesses - Bohomoon & LoveLayla

So today I was very excited when two little parcels made their way through my letterbox. I wasn't going to write a post on them but I thought as I haven't really done a post this week I'd give a bit of love to the companies that don't really seem to get that much coverage - definitely the underdogs of their prospective areas within retail. One company being LoveLayla which specializes in humorous cards for all occasions, and BohoMoon a company which specializes in affordable bohemian jewelry.

The first company LoveLayla I stumbled across ages ago after someone had tagged me in one of their images which was a quote about being a crazy dog lady and with my mums birthday coming up I thought it was the perfect time to make an order as I'm never really one to send soppy cards - especially to my parents. The one I decided to pick was the "I love how we don't have to say out loud that i'm your favourite child" because I do have an older sibling who actually lives in the same town as my parents so she gets to see them all the time (but we all know the youngest is 100% the favourite!. I was definitely over the moon with the service from this company, the card itself was £3.95 and i'm not sure if this included delivery or not but I still think that's a pretty decent price for a handmade card which comes in a good sturdy packaging to ensure it doesn't get ruined during delivery. I will definitely be ordering from them in the future as the service is amazing, and it's just different to see a company that strays away from the conventional sentimental card filled with mushy stuff.

And the second company Bohomoon was one I stumbled across during a late night browse on the hunt for some new rings. They sell beautiful, but affordable bohemian jewelry which also has a good shipping price (£1.50!) as well as jewelry they sell tapestries, harem trousers and Iphone cases! Again the service from this website was amazing, they shipped fast and the packaging was also to absolutely die for, I actually am going to re-use the sparkly bag as I'm pretty much a sparrow when it comes to shiny stuff. I got 3 rings, and a necklace - I did have other stuff in my basket but I wasn't quite prepared to blow my student loan (just yet) But they all also came beautifully packaged, the necklace was in a bag by itself and then the 3 rings were put together, none of the items were damaged when they arrived. Plus their social media team are so lovely and chatty when it comes to uploading your buys, or even just asking questions about the products. - Definitely give them a follow on Insta & Twitter.
